News

Sherry Morris received a request for a partial from agent Lucienne Diver and a full from a MIRA editor at the RWA Conference in Orlando. Thanks

To Alleyne Dickens, Judy Butler, Judy Kohnen, Pam Roller and Beth Trissel for all their work on the VRW Fool for Love Contest. The contest was a money-maker for the chapter and by participating as co-coordinators, they have pioneered a new approach to the administration of the contest with a division of the categories and work load. Their desire to help the authors who entered is admirable.

To Lori Stacy, Lucy Balch, Denise Golinowski and Sherry Morris for all their work on the VRW Holt Contest. This contest was a very successful money-maker and also featured a new division of category coordination which distributes the work load more equitably.

To Sherry Morris for her coordination of a get-together for VRW members attending the RWA Conference. Her efforts enabled our members who may not see each other on a regular basis to meet each other and share their conference experiences.

To Lexi Walker for producing an extra Novel Ideas newsletter for the chapter just to make contact with and educate our members during our summer hiatus.
